NRA, SECOND AMENDMENT WINGNUTS AND COWARDS
I CAN END YOUR CLAIM IN ONE COMMENT.
Aside from hunting and the thrill of shooting, there are really only two reasons to own a weapon.
1: To protect from tyrannical government
If you believe that your government has the ability to come into your home and take your guns or that someday they will come for your guns, then this implies that your government can and might be tyrannical. Therefore this is not a gun issue, its a government issue and how YOU perceive it. If you are so afraid that your government could come and take your guns then change or rid the government. That is one intended purpose of the Second Amendment. If you fear your government at any point then what good is that government?
Also, what are they going to do with you after you have no guns? You are already a slave to capitalism, and if they want you dead, you’d be dead.
2: Protect from criminals
This is a sham. The only reason you fear criminals is because you are told to fear. You are told to fear blacks, Mexicans, Muslims etc etc. The fact is is that these groups are suppressed and criminalized in order to install that fear, once you fear you desire weapons to protect. Now who are those powerful enough to control government? Lobbyists. And who is a huge lobbyist? That’s right, the NRA. The NRA will advocate and influence politicians, via scare tactics, as to the outcomes of gun bills. But they also influence other bills that directly affect these so call criminals. Now when these groups act out as a means of survival, revenge or protection, the NRA and the rest of the cowards can now point to a enemy. One in which they directly/indirectly created. No enemies no need for weapons.
1: Stop the government
2: Understand the cause of suppressed groups hatred and fear leading to criminal activities Crime is an effect, address the cause.
In conclusion. If you think that it is okay to have preemptive strikes against foreign nations (who most likely will never effect your life), but not against your government (which most of you seem to agree will someday get your guns) then you are a coward.
If you do not understand cause and effect I would suggest learning. Everything happens for a reason, and buying a weapon most likely is another misguided effect.
