The Old Ones Featuring: Melvins

The Old Ones is a collection of live performances I shot in the nightclubs around Minneapolis and Saint Paul from 1993-2001.  The shows have been broken down into one song segments with no particular order for a quick and easy view. The master tapes have traveled great distances so embrace the quality and charm. I will attempt to give some information and will welcome all relevant comments.

The Melvins are an American rock band that formed in 1983 in Montesano, Washington. They have mostly performed as a trio, as well as a quartet with two drummers in recent years. Since 1984, vocalist and guitarist Buzz Osborne and drummer Dale Crover have been constant members. The band was named after a supervisor at a Thriftway in Montesano, Washington, where Osborne also worked as a clerk. "Melvin" was despised by other employees, and the band's members felt it to be an appropriately ridiculous name. Their early work was key to the development of both grunge and sludge metal.

OK, here's some stuff I did for other bands so you have an impression.

The Ocean (from Germany), this ended up on their 3 pc DVD: The Ocean - Mesoarchaean: Legions Of Winged Octopi (Doornroosje 2009)

filmed and edited by me, using just a handycam, mixed camera and CD audio.. There's more of them on that channel.

Forcefeed live clip: Forcefeed - Grinder (live) live sound (camera), I mixed some CD audio in.

Wired All Wrong: made from bits and pieces I found all over the net: Wired All Wrong - Medicate (Scrap Edit)

And there's some older custom edit clips on Death Squad channel.
